The Wisper 806 is ideal for transporting in a vehicle and is popular with campers, caravaners, boating enthusiasts or those with restricted storage. The frame has an exceptionally low step through at at 33cm making it ideal for those with restricted leg movement. The bike is also suitable for the shorter person having a minimum seat height of 73cm from the ground (approximately 25″ inside leg measurement).
The Wisper 806 SE, being a ‘cadence type’ electric bike, relies more on the action of turning the pedals rather than the pressure that is applied to the pedals. Therefore as long as one turns the pedals it is perfectly possible to ride up a gentle hill with virtually no effort at all! This makes it ideal for commuters, who have to arrive at work sweat-free. It also appeals to those who enjoy cycling to get out and about for enjoyment – rather than as a high-energy workout!
The powerful 65 Nm, 250W hub motor is virtually silent, and with both front and rear disc brakes the Wisper 806 SE is perfect for the start / stop of city commuting. For uphill starts the ‘twist and go’ throttle is perfect to get the bike up to 6 kpm.
Apart from all these practical features the Wisper 806 SE has those extra touches which turn a ‘ride’ into a ‘treat’, such as comfort grips & saddle, adjustable handlebar stem and a backlit LCD control panel for night riding. And to finish everything off we have to mention built in high intensity LED front & rear lights and a rear carrier rack.
We offer a choice of standard 375 Wh lithium ion battery with a range up to 40 miles, or the ultra range 575 Wh Samsung with a potential range up to 55 miles.
Comparing the Wisper 806 SE to most of its competitors we think it it is hard to match, never mind beat. Don’t take our word for it – come and take a test ride at Ebike Centres before you even thing of buying an electric bike!
