Leicester City Mayor, Sir Peter Soulsby, to officially open Ebike Centres, Granby Street, at 11am on Saturday 29 June
Leicester City Mayor, Sir Peter Soulsby, has kindly agreed to officially open the new ‘Ebike Centres’ showroom on Granby Street, Leicester.
It is hoped that, alongside traditional bicycles and other low emission forms of transport, electric bikes will help to reduce traffic congestion and pollution on Leicester’s roads. In recent years Leicester has made tremendous efforts to make its roads and city centre safer and more attractive to cyclists. The hard work is starting to pay off, and electric bikes are seen as an excellent method of commuting to work; covering 3 miles in 12 minutes at a cost of one pence makes sound economic sense as well!
