The long-awaited UHL (University Hospitals of Leicester) ‘Cycle to Work’ scheme for Leicester NHS staff has just been announced. For some reason employees are being required to buy a bicycle from Evans, whose nearest stores are in Nottingham, Birmingham and Milton Keynes! So no service, no freebies and no electric bikes either. Shame!

Non-electric bikes
(using ‘Click and Collect’ on our website):
- FREE accessory voucher for 15% of the bike’s value to be used in our shop (up to a maximum of £200 in vouchers)
- 0% finance available over 12 or 24 months on all bicycles over £350 (subject to status)
- no upper limit on the price of a bike. You can buy a bike for £6000 if you wish!
- can be used for Raleigh, Diamondback, Hai Bike, Dahon, kid’s bikes, folding bikes, BMX … anything you like!
- FREE ‘Click and Collect’ from our website and collect from our shop on Granby Street in Leicester city centre
- FREE in-store assembly and safety check by our qualified mechanic
- FREE follow-up / adjustment service after 6 weeks
Electric bikes
(must be ordered in-store from our Granby Street store)
- FREE accessory voucher for 10% of the bike’s value to be used in our shop (up to a maximum of £100 in vouchers)
- 0% finance available over 24 months on all FreeGo, Wisper, Raleigh & Hai Bike electric bikes (subject to status)
- no upper limit on the price of a bike. You can buy a bike for £6000 if you wish!
