Due to our continuing growth we are looking for an enthusiastic Cycle Maintenance Apprentice to be a part of our team.
Vacancy Description
An Apprenticeship with Ebike Electric Cycle Centres is a great way to learn while you earn. You will receive technical training, an experienced mentor and a recognised qualification at the end.
The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Building bikes
- Undertaking repairs
- Servicing bikes
- Assisting on the shop floor
- General tasks
- Attending promotional events (when required)
Full training will be provided in all aspects of electric bike and bicycle maintenance, from new bicycle assembly to all repairs across all bicycle types.
Training
Training will be provided by Ebike Centres and ATG Training, our training partner (read more about ATG Apprenticeships here). Training will include:
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance & Installation – Cycles pathway
- Cytech 2
- Level 2 Certificate in Cycle Maintenance
- Functional Skills in Maths, English and IT (if applicable)
- Personal Learning& Thinking Skills
- Employee Responsibilities and Rights
Future Prospects
The opportunity to gain Cytech cycle mechanic qualification and learn how to carry out professional cycle fitting. You can develop skills in dealing with the public/ sales/ promotion and relevant systems. You will also receive comprehensive on-the-job training to bring you up to the level of ‘electric bike technician’.
