Finally, after weeks of anticipation, the first electric tricycle (electric trike)arrived in Leicester.
The E-Solo electric trike, from Mission Cycles, has been especially developped for both the public and for businesses.
With it’s low step-through frame (only 6″ from the ground) it is pefect for those cyclists who are a little nervous of riding a bicycle o who are unsure of their sense of balance. A comfy saddle and five power settings producing speeds of between 3mph and 15mph it is perfect for getting around town. The very large rear basket makes it perfect fr shopping.
The E=Solo also offers great benefits for businesses. With its high load capacity it is ideal for deliveries or carrying tools and equipment. It can be driver by anyone over the age of 14 without licence, road tax, insurance or MOT. No parking charges, and with electricity costing only 1p for 3 miles, it is perfect for takeaways, newsagents, and many other businesses.
