Mayor draws lucky £1000 ebike winner at the end of Leicester Sky Ride
Despite occasional showers last Sunday’s Leicester Sky Ride turned out to be a lot of fun for everyone who took part.
One of the top attractions during the day was the chance to try out an electric bike. Everyone taking a test ride won free entry into a prize draw, with one lucky winner being drawn at the end of the day by Peter Soulsby, the Leicester city Mayor.
Huge thanks are due to all our Ebike Centres ‘volunteers’ on the day, who worked so hard to make the day a success, from building the gazebo to cheer leading at the side of the route, and from helping new riders get to grip with their bikes in a limited space to fetching the food at half time. Thank you very much!!!
Thanks also to all those customers who stopped by on their electric bikes to say hello. Sorry if we could not sometimes spend as much time chatting as we would have liked.
The lucky winner was Kierton, who had come all the way from Preston just to take part in Leicester Sky Ride. He is coming back down next Saturday to collect his FreeGo Hawk. Hopefully we will be able to post a photo of him on his bike at the weekend.
